Bio: 

• Jóla is the controller of what is essentially an empty hive - there is only one other permanent member, her Controller husband who would do anything to protect her
• She is the Head of the Messenger service for the western area of the region; the workers are volunteer No Ranks who pass through during their travels - volunteer Messengers will be given a sealed scroll to be delivered to an Alumy living in the next hive they are visiting
• Jóla is unable and unwilling to speak directly to anyone but her husband. She also cannot stand to be around Pebbles; she lost her children after a rival Controller attacked the Hive she lived in back when she was just a Follower many years prior, and while Jóla still has strong motherly instincts she has never let go of her grief - which causes her to break down emotionally whenever she sees a Pebble
• She's based on the Yule Cat, Jólakötturinn (designed as part of the 2023 Christmas Collab)
