Water Alumy Event

Summer is in full swing, and Alumies are celebrating!

With the annual migration of Water Alumies underway, many reunions are taking place as well as general summer fun! Water Alumies are celebrating and are having a whale of a time with summer festivities, seeing old friends, and just generally having a blast.

This Event includes several different prompts and several ways you can participate!:

• Reunion is a big aspect of the Summer Odyssey, given that that's when Water Alumies come home from their long migration. They are reuniting with loved ones, whether it be families, friends, or even acquaintances, as a way to celebrating coming home from a long journey. This prompt is both a Writing and Art prompt, and uses our new Critereon Prompt format (similar to submitting an attack on Artfight).
• One of the activities that Water Alumies enjoy taking part in is racing! Race to the Abyss is a time-related prompt, in which Water Alumies sign up for a race to the finish line! On August 1st at 12 pm CDT (site time), the prompt will officially open and the race will begin. The first, second, and third people to draw all 4 pieces with their Alumies in all 4 locations will receive MYOS! And, if you do not want to take part in the race, any participating members will get a Water Orb as well as crystals for participating (but at a slower pace). Check out the prompt page to find the sign-up link, where you can sign up your Water Alumies to participate in the race. This prompt is drawing only.
• Our Water Alumy NPC, Marilyn, is going around and interviewing Alumies! She wants to know more about Alumies traditions during the summer, as well as what they like or do not like. This prompt is drawing only.
• This time isn't just a celebration for Water Alumies, it's also a fun time for Forest, Sky, and Flower Alumies as well! Draw or write your Alumies enjoying the summer fun or watching/celebrating the migrating Water Alumy. This prompt gives the Bubble Gum Item, alongside with various other rewards!
• Lastly, Alumies are playing games, while also working on puzzles! Take part in this puzzling prompt to complete puzzles to get rewards.

All Summer Odyssey Event participants will get:

• A Summer Odyssey sticker added to their LoreKeeper account
• All prompt submissions (besides the Puzzle prompt) will enter you into the Summer Odyssey Design raffle (Silhouette shown below!)

We are also introducing an Event-specific item!

Soap Gum

This item makes it possible for your Non-Water Alumies to take part in Event Prompts that are Water Alumy-specific! You can get 3 throughout the event by participating in the Summer Fun Prompt. When you submit any prompts with any non-water Alumy (specifically underwater), then we will take that item out of your inventory.

Water Orb prices are also on sale, for 100 Crystals each! If you've ever wanted to make a Water Alumy, now is the time. You can find the Water orbs in the shop, located here.

Introducing:: Our new Water Alumy NPC, Marilyn (or Mari, for short)! She's always a fan of summer festivities, and she'll be around a lot during this event. If you need a character to draw for a prompt, you're welcome to draw/write about her!

To submit your prompts, and get your rewards, please use the submit a prompt button!

For the Reunion prompt, we've figured out how to let users input rewards based on what your submission has within it (such as if your piece has a headshot/fullbody or if your piece has a scene or if it has no background). Once you choose a prompt, please make sure to click "Add Critereon" at the bottom of the page! This will pop up the menu to add whatever crystal amounts are present in the submission. This makes it possible for us to do ranked rewards, where each aspect of your submission is taken into account when crystals are rewarded. Thank you MarskyMessier for the work that you've done for putting these ranked rewards together!
